Utelasa has standardized prices without hidden charges in online or physical purchases, the student will always be informed when they are purchases with credit / debit cards with the interest percentage increased to the price according to VisaNet Guatemala, 2CheckOut, Payoneer or the bank and its policies of prices. If the purchases are in cash, deposits or bank transfers the payment will not have any extra fees in local currency. If it is international, you can check with your bank in your country of origin the costs for each online transaction.

Utelasa uses as a general rule payments in American dollars (USD) and/or Guatemalan Quetzales (GTQ) for national or foreign studentes at the exchange rate of $1 (USD) or Q8 (GTQ) for online shopping. Please consult your bank for the current exchange rate in your local currency.

REFUND POLICY
Refund on online courses
For local or international online courses.

Applies only to purchases through the website, social networks, whatsapp, and google forms, direct payment links for money transfers / payments with credit / debit cards internationally or locally.

Utelasa can return digital purchases as online courses that the student has purchased on the website and has not received more information about the purchase or any virtual teaching link to take the purchased course. If this is the case, the student will first be informed with the data they initially registered, if the university is taking time in preparing the registration credentials to take the virtual course and through applications such as Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or similar, as well as the start dates. If the student does not agree, the money will be refunded when the user submits a claim within a period of no more than 3 business days, if it was in cash or bank transfer, if the process was with credit / debit cards it could take approximately 5 business days as well as international cards depending on the issuing bank.

Utelasa controls all registration transactions and online purchases. The university will contact by email or registered phone numbers to verify the purchase. If the purchase was made by mistake, the student is entitled to receive the money from the university. If the student does not claim anything within a period of no more than 3 business days, Utelasa can dispose of that money for its own use without refunds of any kind.

Free courses that indicate that the price is a voluntary offering, don't have a monetary refund, because it's part of a donation that you are giving us for free to help the cause. That includes if you donate to us monetarily with your credit or debit card, bank transfer, or any other financial monetary means to send us the money including payment in cash.
