Broader than religious studies but more focussed than philosophy, theology is a unique subject that looks at the world around us through the lens of religion. Understanding how different beliefs have influenced society, and how they still play a major role today, helps theologians answer some of the big questions in life. Theology is a branch of philosophy which looks at the world strictly through the lens of religion. It looks at the role that religion plays in modern society, and how modern culture has been influenced by religions of the past. Philosophy may tackle the same questions and challenges, but it paints with a much broader brush.

The program in Theology is geared towards students who wish to continue deepening their knowledge in research and the teaching of the Bible. Focused on the study of the Christian history of Latin America and biblical thought as its objective to transmit to the community of faith the necessary tools to advance the knowledge of God.

These studies of the Christian history of Latin America and biblical thought, past, present and future will give rise and train a creative theological discussion and specialized research; as well as preparation for spiritual leadership.

You study at your own pace and according to your own itinerary, as we offer digital didactic material to support practical theological education, with previous bachelor experience. You can enter the courses as many times as you need; There will be some evaluations in each course but easy to complete once you follow the teaching methodology step by step, short tests, participation, among others.

The Teaching of Practical Theology aims to transmit a correct theological teaching to people who wish to educate others in some ministerial position, community environment, missionaries, among others with previously completed high school studies.

Having received each course within the curriculum, according to the schedule of activities and evaluations, you will have a diploma that accredits your participation and acquisition of new knowledge, as well as an accreditation certification per year according to your theological career, which will add credits. You will not only have credibility in front of the people around you but also in the competent ecclesial world, ministerial area or educational positions and you can choose to further improve your personal goals and objectives according to your leadership vision.
